Computer Science and Engineering

Computer Science & Engineering Department has been established in 1998 with intake capacity of 40 which increased to 60 from the session 1999-2000, approved by AICTE New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra and Institute of Engineers (India). Intake capacity of the department was again increased from 60 seats to 90 seats from the session 2001-2002.

The department has experienced faculty and has well-equipped laboratories, furnished class rooms, and staff rooms. Departmental library provides round the clock learning environment to students by providing books, journals, reports and many more as such. Looking at the need of the hour, 24x7 wi-fi enabled internet facility is provided to all the students. At departmental level, under banner of departmental forum FACEIT, student under guidance of teaching faculties, organize different technical, curricular and Extra-Curricular activities. Dr. A.A.Jaiswal is Head of the Department.

It’s a matter of pride for the department that its alumni are well placed in reputed companies in India and abroad bringing laurels to the institution.

• Faculty members of the department have presented and published their research papers in several national and international conferences and journals.
• They have been invited as guest lectures and as judges / session Chairs for different workshops and conferences.
• Faculty members have also actively participated at different levels in RTMNU like Board of Studies, Local Committees, Subject Experts etc.
• Laboratories are well equipped with computers of latest configuration and Internet facility. Latest software's, Wireless Access Point, LCD projectors and a separate Router are used in the laboratories for teaching purpose.
• Students are encouraged to appear in GATE, CAT, GRE and other competitive examinations which has resulted in increasing number of students clearing these exams. The Department also coordinates a departmental student’s forum FACE-IT and ISTE Student Chapter of KDKCE, under which various national and college level technical and co-curricular activities are organized for the benefit of the students.
